Today’s leaders know …

 

·                    They are ALWAYS communicating, even in their silence.

·                    That each and every communication either builds trust with others or destroys it.

·                    That each and every communication either inspires commitment and greatness or instills fear and an exit strategy when the job market is good.

·                    They are responsible for their communications.

·                    They get what they give.

 

Thus, today’s leaders …

 

·                    Are conscious of ALL their communications.  And ask themselves, “Will this inspire, motivate and engage my followers to be their best?”

·                    Truly understand that leadership is about how people feel in their presence   Do they feel safe, trusted and empowered, or insignificant and replaceable?

·                    Recognize that it takes many, many, MANY positive interactions to make up for a perceived breach in trust or slight.

·                    Realize that as they treat one, others notice and remember.

·                    Are cognizant that short term decisions have long term effects.

·                    Make the right choices today for tomorrow’s success.

 

Today’s leaders communicate in a way that builds trust and confidence in every single moment, in every single way.

Do your communications exude leadership and create trust?

 

Do your communications show respect and engage others?

 

 

The choice is ALWAYS yours.
