ask themselves, “Will this inspire, motivate and engage my followers to be their

understand that leadership is about how people feel in their presence Do they feel safe, trusted and
empowered, or insignificant and replaceable? ·
Recognize
that it takes many, many, MANY positive interactions to make up for a perceived
breach in trust or slight. ·
Realize that
as they treat one, others notice and remember. ·
Are cognizant
that short term decisions have long term effects. ·
Make the
right choices today for tomorrow’s success. Today’s leaders communicate in a way
that builds trust and confidence in every single moment, in every single
